How we provide Tutor Support & Course material to Distance learner?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have a dedicated ITPT Student Portal associated with our website (Moodle) where we have placed all Tutor Power Point slides & Course materials to accommodate our distance learners.
However way you chose to learn with ITPT, there always be a tutor to support you during your course whether you come to classes or work from home. The tutor support comes in the form of face-to-face, email, phone or Skype.

Course Delivery

Full Time Courses:

HNC & HND Courses will be delivered 2 and a Half day, roughly around 16 - 20 hours a week.
Part time Courses:

HNC & HND courses will be delivered one day a week from 09:00 - 17:00

Scottish Agency Award for Scotland (SAAS)
SAAS provides two types of funding for all above courses which is based on mode of learning.
1. Full-time funding.
2. Part-time funding.

Full-time Funding criteria

Full-time students are required to fulfill only residency criteria described in below section. Full time students can also apply for Bursary and Student loan . To get more information on Bursary and student loan contact us.

Part time and Distance learning Funding criteria

All above courses are available for studying as Part time and Distance learning aswell .Funding is available for part-time and distance learners who meets following Earning and Residency eligibility criteria.

Earning Eligibility
--------------------------
1.Those individuals who are are unwaged or earning £25,000 or less given that they have not recently used SAAS/ILA funding towards any other course/training.
(Above is also applied to Self-employed individuals)
NIL income can also apply for this SAAS funding for the above courses depending on their circumstances.
2. Those in receipt of following benefits are automatically eligible:

General Residency Criteria

Please do note:If you do not meet our general residency conditions, you may still be eligible for support in certain
circumstances.
According to general residency criteria Support may be available to:
• UK nationals who were born in and have spent the greater part of their life in the UK.
• UK nationals returning from temporary employment or study outside the UK.
• EU nationals and family members of such.
• Nationals of the EEA and Switzerland, who have been granted permanent residence in the UK and
their husbands, wives or civil partners and children or stepchildren.
• Nationals and family members of nationals of other EU member states, the EEA and Switzerland
who have EEA migrant worker/self-employed or Swiss employed/self-employed status in the UK.
• People recognised as refugees by the British Government, and their husbands, wives or civil
partners and children or stepchildren.
• People who have been granted exceptional leave to enter or remain, humanitarian protection or
discretionary leave in the UK, and their husbands, wives or civil partners and children or stepchildren.
• Iraqi nationals who have been given leave to enter the UK under the Iraqi Direct Entry Scheme .
• Anyone who is under 18 and has been granted temporary protection in the UK.
• Anyone who is the dependant child of a Swiss national.
• Anyone who is the dependant child of a Turkish worker.
