We are an established and reputable charitable organisation and have an immediate requirement for a Transformation Programme Lead to join our team in Worksop.

The 'Transformation Programme Lead' of this large "supplier focussed" NHS organisation will take ownership of and facilitate the delivery of a range of services, ensuring that NHS front-line organisations have access to the products that they require.

The 'Transformation Programme Lead' will support the delivery of value and significant savings, ensuring that improvements are in place across a range of third party supply chain contracts. The 'Transformation Programme Lead' will work with suppliers to help them understand how the NHS works and to match NHS requirements to the right services to maximise contract value, whilst maintaining quality standards and mitigating risks to the supply chain.

The Challenge

To work with NHS organisations service and business leads, other programme leads, project boards and external stakeholders, owning and facilitating delivery of value and significant savings and ensuring that appropriate improvement programmes are in place across all third party supply chain contracts.

This is a brand new role in this organisation!

Key deliverables (thus the skillset to deliver) include:

* The identification of requirements, the production of improvement proposals, plans and business cases that ensures a focus on customer service, client strategy and the achievement of value for taxpayers' money.
* Ensuring that technology strategy, organisational design and people aspects are considered appropriately.
* Define work streams and projects to achieve agreed cash releasing savings targets, and lead to ensure the effective monitoring framework for activities and work stream outcomes.
* Identify and manage external dependencies, risks and issues, blockages and potential conflicts of interest and resource constraints.
* The development and maintenance of a clear programme plan, with clearly defined parameters on outcomes, timelines, budgets and resource plan.
* Stakeholder management and development alongside representing the BSA's interest and maintaining its negotiating position.

Essential Criteria:

* Degree or equivalent and relevant experience.
* Successful management of large, complex change programmes, which have produced tangible benefits in terms of cost reduction, process improvement, product or service quality.
* Experience of working in a diverse service delivery organisation.
* Experience of leading a team to work creatively and collaboratively.
* Experience of building productive and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to arrive at mutually acceptable solutions to business issues.
* Breadth of experience across a number of business areas and awareness of key financial, legal and HR principles that need to be taken into account when managing change.
* Experience of using recognised programme and project management methodologies (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2) or holding a Programme / Project Management qualification.
* Understanding of the current operational structure of the NHS.

Desirable Criteria:

Experience of having dealt with a range of NHS stakeholders - having developed and implemented change with and through these stakeholders.
