The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training has replaced the Level 5 Diploma in the Lifelong Sector (DTLLS). The course is not only open to teachers who teach in traditional settings such as universities and colleges. The course is also open to instructors, coaches and those who teach on a one to one basis regardless of their geographical location.

You will have to evidence 100 hours of teaching and will be observed 8 times (see
below). We can help with the placement if you do not have one.

Attendance:
* Complete eLearning with email or telephone support for 1 year

Duration:
This course is offered over 9 months period depending on the delivery mode and your motivation.

Entry Requirements
Applicants who meet the requirements for the full teaching role.

Applicants will be expected to:
* hold a subject specialist qualification at NQF L3
* hold NQF Level 2 qualifications in English Language and Maths
