The Kelvin Hotel is a small hotel open all year round offering bed and breakfast. We are a well-established friendly team and wanting good all-rounders in preparing and serving breakfast and housekeeping to join our wee team. We are a supportive bunch of folk and will to give our all to ensure the successful applicant is able to get up to speed with the work as soon as possible.
The Kelvin Hotel is looking for 1/2 experienced general assisitants to join our team. Duties will include ⢠Helping cook and serve breakfasts and setting up dining room ⢠General cleaning down of kitchen and ensuring all public areas are kept tidy ⢠Making beds ⢠Cleaning rooms ⢠Laundry ⢠Cover days off and holidays in conjunction with the rest of the team
The successful applicants will be ⢠Able to work as part of a small team ⢠Be experienced in housekeeping and cooking breakfasts ⢠Be able to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently ⢠Enjoy maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the hotel. Minimum wage / Living wage rates will apply. The work is varied and can lead to getting experience in other areas such as bar, reception and training can be arranged. We can be flexible with start and finish times and days off. Live in is available. The core hours will be 7.00am â 2pm. 4 to 6 days out of 7 days. There could be more hours available.
