Experienced Van Driver Required – Immediate Start – Full Time
Salary: 15k – 21k (Dependent on experience).
1 - 3 Month Term Contract - Temp to Perm
You will be working for a fun, dynamic & forward thinking same-day Courier Company, based in Colnbrook, SL3 (next to Heathrow Airport) where no day is the same.
We are looking for someone who is flexible with their working hours and who is a team player, with a good attitude, clear communication skills and professional at all times.
Our company has grown year on year and we are looking to expand once again, to which we are looking for someone, who is friendly, focused and an experienced van driver to carry out same day collections and deliveries, local, nationwide and occasionally into Europe.
You will be driving the latest vans, fitted with the latest technology and the correct equipment, to carry out a professional job.
You will be delivering 2-10 drops per day - Please note, this is NOT multi-drop work.
In return of your good work, we would offer a full time salary, with extra overtime, along with opportunities to grow within the company. Once you have held the position for over 12 months, you will then qualify for our company bonus scheme, can offer a yearly bonus, dependent on performance.
Essential to the role:
* Experience in driving 3.5t – Large Vans.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Friendly & focused, with a can do attitude.
* Driving License valid in the UK – (Max 6 points).
* Must be over 25yrs (Insurance Purposes)
* Experience in same day collections and deliveries.
* Knowledge of driving around London and UK.
* Well presented with the ability to liaise with customers and the public.
* Aviation and Security Level D preferred - But not essential.
* Some heavy lifting involved – Must be physically fit.
* A strong focus on accuracy and eye for detail.
* Able to use emails, text and picture messages via a smart phone.
* Must be flexible with work hours.
* Must be able to do early starts and late finishes.
* There will be occasional weekend work.

You will be required to undergo airport security checks as you will be working airside. DBS check required. Must have a minimum 5yr checkable work history.
You must live within 10miles of Colnbrook, SL3, as at times we made need quick response times. Anywhere near Ashford, Feltham, Heathrow, Hayes, Hounslow, Iver, Slough or Sunbury or surrounding areas will be suitable.

Must have a plain white van – (Non sign written)
Must be clean and tidy – (5yrs old or less)
Must have Goods in Transit Insurance (GIT)
Aviation and Security Level D preferred - But not essential.
