I am looking to share my knowledge in visual storytelling and street photography through an afternoon tour of Camden Market. I have lived in Camden for the past three years and know the area very well.
Currently working as a freelance documentary photographer, with published in The Guardian, I am happy to teach any skill level from beginner to enthusiast. No matter the type of photography in mind.
My Saturday afternoon sessions in Camden focus on the art of visual storytelling in an incredibly vibrant area of the city. As well as how to curate a selection of images into a theme and narrative. A skill which is often ignored by photographers looking for work. Â The first section of the afternoon will begin by meeting in the Hawley Arms for coffee/drinks and a discussion on photographic narrative. This is also a perfect time to raise any queries you have with your equipment. Â Following this discussion, I will give tour of the famous Stables Market helping people to photograph using the techniques of documentary photographers and photojournalists. Â Following the tour, we will return to The Hawley Arms to view and critique our images. It is at this stage I will help with ways to choose a selection of images to form a cohesive story.Â

Cost: ÂŁ40 Per person (maximum 20 Per Session)  Duration: 1pm - 4pm  Location: Camden Stables Market (5 minutesâ walk from Camden Town Tube)
You will need: - Camera and equipment (lenses/flashguns etc). Whichever equipment you use or want to get more comfortable with, be it a compact camera, DSLR, Medium Format or compact system camera. - Something to take notes with.
