We require a Full Time Deputy Manager for our busy home in Parkstone, Poole. 42 hours per week, worked across an agreed rota, including every other weekend. The Position may include unsociable hours to respond to on-call / emergency duties.
Salary Scale: Discussed at interview
We are seeking a motivated, experienced Deputy Manager to join us. Regency Manor caters for a mixture of those with dementia and residential care needs. As Deputy Manager you will be part of a team of three other Deputy Managers who assist the manager in the running of the home. As part of that team, you will be expected to take full responsibility for the Home in the absence of the Registered Manager, whilst providing the highest quality of care and support to the Service Users in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body.
Applicants must meet and evidence the following criteria: -
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Relevant experience of working with adults with dementia
• Experience at management level in a residential setting and effective leadership skills
• Effective communication skills, good organisational and time management skills
• Good knowledge of Safeguarding procedures
• Good proficiency in word & excel
We provide extensive in-house training of the very highest quality. Also unlike most providers of care WE DO NOT CHARGE you for the excellent training you will receive as long as you give us 8 weeks notice of your intention to leave our employment to give us the chance to recruit to your post!!
