Get taught by a Performing Musician and a patient Teacher. Marty has a full understanding of music through being a professional performing musician for many years. He has excellent communication skills and has been taught to recognise your learning personality in order to explain things in ways that you will understand.

He uses a holistic and analistic approach to teach you the music you enjoy along with the theory behind the music, giving you the abilities required to analyse songs you like and write your own in a similar way if you wish to do so.

Marty has a very good musical ear, he will be able to play you just about any song you may suggest within minutes, then patiently show you how it’s played and how it was written. Go on, test him on this one!

Marty is CRB checked and has recently attended “Creating Safer Space” (safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults).

Marty teaches Guitar from a designated studio sited at his home where a wide variety of resources are available (including tea and coffee).
